The Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floor Insulation is a premium quality insulation for floors. It is premium performance rigid thermoset insulation with thermal conductivities as low as 0.020 W/m.K. This board is easy to install and safe with a class 0 fire rated insulation core. There is no requirement for an added vapour control layer. It allows for quick response floor heating as it prevents heat loss through a ‘heat sump’. The use of this board minimises the cost of related items such as soil removal, DPMs, and service connections.
